SUPERIOR HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE
People have asked many good questions online, but nobody has ever taken the time to answer those “How much does it cost” questions! Until now!
A) Well, there are several factors that go into this answer: Are you having a Standard cleaning or an Extensive Deep Cleaning? Let’s go with Standard Cleaning.
How many bedrooms/bathrooms and auxiliary rooms do you have? How many square feet is your home? Is the Housekeeping service licensed & bonded or are they an individual, possibly working under the table? Superior Housekeeping Service is a licensed & bonded company using premium cleaning supplies and we do full cleanings & stain removal.
We offer a website where you can book, schedule & pay for your cleanings as well.
A 3-bedroom home with 2 bathrooms Standard Cleaning should run anywhere from $203 to $251. Our price is $215.00. You’re looking at $40 to $62 per man-hour. Our rate is $44 to $46, depending on the job.
This job would take approximately 5 man-hours. 1 person for 5 hours or 2 people for 2.5 hours is 5 man-hours.
A) You can expect to pay anywhere from $35 to $62 per hour. You need to decide if you want the neighbor’s daughter cleaning your home or if you want a licensed & bonded professional housekeeping service handling that responsibility.
Make sure you’re comparing “apples to apples” when you’re comparing services. It’s not all about price. Superior Housekeeping Service charges $44 to $46 per man-hour.
A) That is usually called a Move Out Cleaning when the person selling the house, or the old renter, pays to have the house cleaned so they get their deposit back and so the home is in good condition for the incoming residents.
A housewife doing housekeeping on the side may give you a better price, but does she have all of the necessary equipment and proper cleanings supplies to do the best job? Cheaper is definitely not better in this scenario.
A lot is dependent on how much you’re paying per hour, but the following is pretty industry standard. This is a list of how long it typically takes to clean each type of home: Studio/1 Bedroom: 4 to 5 hours 2 Bedroom 6 hours 3 Bedroom 8 hours 4 bedroom 10 hours 5 Bedroom 12 hours
A) Well, it only takes about 2 hours to clean a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment, or cleaning a kitchen in a Move Out Cleaning with a lot of cabinets could take that long. Bedrooms only take about 30 minutes, so they could clean 4 bedrooms in 2 hours.
A) It really matters how many people live in the home, how often they entertain and the level of activity in the home. The more foot traffic thru the home, the dirtier it will get, and faster.
For a busy professional that lives alone, Monthly service will probably meet your needs. It will require you to be involved in your housekeeping regimen throughout the month. But we can bring everything up to par when we clean each month.
For a family with children, Bi-Weekly Service is the key. This way, we can basically “take housekeeping off your plate”, as we’ll be there every 2 weeks to mop your floors, scrub your bathroom & kitchen and keep everything spotless & germ-free.
You’ll only be involved in perhaps taking out the trash each week. We’ll handle everything else! I do have a weekly client who is dealing with medical issues. With that service, we’re DEFINITELY handling everything for you, as there is barely time for any dust to settle before we’re there again. This would also be a good fit for a family that’s really active.
